Demo v7 released!

Hello Miners!

It's been a bit of silence but here is another big demo update, featuring new assets and Cloud Save! If you've played the demo before, there's probably not going to be anything new, since this update mostly contains improvements to the already existing content. Discussions are also still going on in the Discord channel if you want to hang out. Plenty of cool ideas are coming from you, the players, and I really enjoy hearing about them.

There's also shortly going to be a new trailer that has a bit more "oomph" to say the least. Check it out!

Patch Notes Demo 7

New

  • Steam Cloud Save (resets any previous options settings though)
  • A bunch of new art assets
  • DPS has been replaced with Total Damage
  • Game shows more and better stats
  • Added tutorial task and ingame intro

Improvements

  • Upgrades indicate if you cannot afford them
  • Renamed a bunch of items
  • Hard Reset button doesn't reset options now
  • Hard Reset button confirmation
  • Gems now sparkle (just like you)
  • Gems and other pickups are now drawn in a more logical order
  • Gems and coins now spread out more dynamically
  • Danger Zone visuals scale a bit better
  • Added more audio and effects

Balance

  • Repairing healing stations now cost a fixed amount of gems
  • Lowered healing station startup delay
  • Made Relics a bit more unbalanced (more powerful in general)

Fixes

  • Fixed Comic Book not leveling up completely
  • Fixed Laser not pausing correctly
  • Fixed fungus outline not showing in The Edge
  • Fixed menu music not looping properly
  • Fixed player gliding far too much during high movement speed
  • Fixed UI not updating displays as intended with controllers
  • Fixed player being able to get the same weapon multiple times
  • Fixed some objective items spawning when they have been picked up already
  • Fixed objective arrows being placed above UI
  • Fixed a bunch of minor things that are not worth mentioning
