Hi there.
I'm the author of Liquid Swarm.
The game came out on May 27, less than a month ago, and has been in constant development since.
The game is highly rated on CrazyGames (9.2/10, 170k plays as of 2026-06-19) and I get a lot of direct messages from players who really love the game, but it's rated 2/10 here. I'd quite like to understand why, if somebody here can enlighten me, as I'm not familiar with the incrementaldb culture.
Is it the ads (an ad-free version will come to Steam once development is complete)? Is it because the full-feature version isn't out yet? Is it because it's hosted on CrazyGames? Is it because the pre-1.0 free and ad-free version on Itch doesn't match the screenshot (that version is legacy but will be updated with a proper demo in about a month or two after adding co-op)? Is it something else?
Looking forwards for people here to enlighten me.
