Not leaving a review since I haven't played it, but I do want to say that I'm just... so tired of incremental game demos that ask you to wishlist them on Steam. I just...the chances of me paying money for an incremental game are near 0%, since they don't tend to provide enough meat to be worth the cash for me, and this constant wishlist begging is just GRATING. I miss when people just made little games and posted them online for free, in the good 'ol flash days...now everything has to be on Steam, everything has to be monetized, everything has to have a demo that asks for a wishlist to raise engagement, raise numbers...
And I don't know for sure that this game will cost money when it comes out, to be clear, but it's overwhelmingly likely, based on past experience. I mean, who asks people to wishlist a game that's planned to be released for free? I don't think I've ever seen that.
So I'm not leaving a review since I haven't played the demo, but I really do need to call out just how TIRED I am of seeing that damn button to wishlist an incremental game demo on Steam...it's just SO common nowadays, it's just...tiring. I come to this website for games, not ads, and it feels like ads is most of what I see now, like if I went to a flash game website in the old days and all the games were just demos advertising paid games on Steam...that'd suck! And that's what it's felt like here lately. I don't like it, not one bit...
