I've been a big fan of Conway's Game of Life since I read about in in Martin Gardener's book in 90x. I enjoed placing structures and spectating how they evolve.

I doubt the autospawner is needed as it meddles with the cells placing which the player does Besides, as we know from Game of Life adding a cell might break a well-designed structure
