In case anyone wants to give it a try: As of August 2025 all of issues mentioned by the reviews that I agree with have been addressed.

The art has been fully replaced as well as can be seen in the new screenshots.

The UI has been completely redone.

A multitude of new features has been added, including many player suggestions.
