EverCraft 2 comment

I have played multiple of this creator's past games. Every one of them has had a compelling initial premise and early game, then revealed severe (often heavily RNG-based) design flaws, and then trailed off into being insanely poorly balanced and incomplete content.

On their own, these things wouldn't be big problems, because they're very fixable problems. But this dev never puts in those last miles of effort; once they lose interest (which is apparently early, and often) they immediately drop the project entirely and regenerate the game from scratch. (sometimes nearly the exact same game, but with incompatible saves)

I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone play or support this approach to game development; there is no satisfaction to be found here. There are very, very good ways of using AI to hasten development. This ain't it.
