The game doesn't have anything particularly special or engaging. It's very generic. it's basically a bread cooking simulator with a few upgrades. The main issue is that, to play it "as intended," you need to install a Chrome/Firefox extension (which I'm not doing in a million years). People who aren't aware of the security risks involved in installing unknown browser extensions will probably do it anyway (which is sad and this is why people get hacked every day). I'm not saying this game will steal your browser info, but normalizing these kind of mechanics is very risky.
As for the game itself, there are a few things that didn't really click for me:
-The profit margin at the beginning is very slow and grindy. -The cards are super annoying. Every time you do something, you get a card congratulating you. -The surveys are suspicious. I don't know if they're just part of the game or if they're actually collecting information. Combined with the browser extension requirement, the whole experience feels very intrusive. They're probably thematic, but some questions genuinely seem like data collection (asking whether you like the game, whether you find it engaging, and so on), which makes the whole thing feel kinda sus. -Clicking on the bread itself doesn't sell it, you have to click the tiny green button in the middle, which is annoying when you're selling a whole batch. There's nothing else you can do with the bread once it's finished besides selling it, so I don't understand why the clickable area isn't the whole loaf (and even a bit beyond). -It's too clicky, I had to enable my autoclicker, otherwise it would be unplayable without the extension. -Keystrokes are useless, I spammed like a few thousand keys and it only gave me like a +1 or +2 bonus (which is practically nothing when the upgrades cost millions). You need to write like 10 books to get a meaningfull bonus, I don't know what the dev thinks people write on the computer these days.
As I said, the game is very basic, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the browser extension requirement. It's technically optional, but without it the game forces you to stay active instead of providing another proper idle mechanic.
