Budgie's Bug Shop review

I 100%'d the demo a few months ago, and have now 100%'d the release version.

It's still a great, polished, short little game, but unfortunately it's also the office "tell me the difference"/"it's the same picture" meme, comparing it with the demo.

If you've played the demo, you've played the release version. Same experience.

There's a few extra stages, yes, but they're honestly kinda just a chore; I had already cleared al prior content and unlocked/upgraded everything before reaching the final 6 or so stages, and I just sat there drawing a rectangle for a few minutes to "mastery" all the bugs there on the first visit for each. They don't add any more playtime or really change the experience. There's "cosmetics" to decorate with, but only barely. There might be a few more upgrades? But they feel the same as the demo.

I don't mind paying for the experience I already had but I can't help but be disappointed playing it a second time, having been looking forward to a bit more.
