I enjoyed the heck out of this. I played through it three times and I think I got most of the content that's available in the demo, but the mechanics really grabbed me.

I enjoyed the idea of lives being quick and having a discrete story, but allowing one to pass on increasing advantages to the next generation. I also felt like I figured out how to use the different mechanics of the game more effectively at a natural and enjoyable pace. I didn't feel a huge amount of time pressure, but also felt some satisfaction as I learned how to use my time and resources more effectively. I also thought the mechanic of automatic combat going on while being free to explore the world was a very pleasant way to play (even if I don't know how much sense it makes).

The world isn't terribly large in the demo, but I really liked the idea that the world was too big to do everything in a single lifetime, and I'd have to make some choices and explore them.

I'll absolutely get the full version of this game.
