This is a nodebuster-like where you manage a tribe of short-lived goblins, harvesting resources to spend after they all die. The upgrades extend their lifespans, make them stronger, let them breed, etc.
It's entertaining enough, but my experience was soured by a sudden, unavoidable 2nd-level prestige that reset all progress up to that point.
When you hit 2:30(?) survival time, villagers will appear and kill your goblins. This is fine/makes sense, but when it happens, you get a new "blood" prestige currency & upgrade tree, and it resets the existing stone/wood/radish/village upgrades.
As I see this was uploaded by the dev, here's why I didn't enjoy this aspect: I didn't like how abrupt this was; I didn't like that this was apparently a hidden goal I should have been working towards as opposed to figuring out and exploring the upgrade tree, rendering previous rounds a complete waste of time; the blood upgrades didn't feel exciting enough or paradigm-shifty enough to make me want to replay the same content again; I didn't like that I had no way of knowing how much blood I'd get on prestige (living goblin population? fixed amount? I had 3 goblins and got 5 blood, so who knows) or if it was going to happen every single time I hit the 2:30 mark/slaughtered. When I don't know what I'm meant to be working towards or what should be factoring in to my decisions it makes for frustrating gameplay.
