In addition to other problems pointed in other reviews, the upgrades are a coin toss if they are helpful or not. Penetration makes it so you are drilling the block too fast now, and you pass through without clearing it, so I went from oneshotting every block slowly, to flying through the level without collecting anything, having to double back to finish a block.
