Soul Harvester review

Between the bad balancing, ingame text, itchio game description and general vibes, I have very good reason to believe this is AI generated. Corpses feel redundant. You need at most 2 to generate blood, because they don't have a high cooldown nor do they generate passively. Imps are borderline useless because they spread their shots and this makes them very, very slow even at max level. This is like half the game. Or at least I assume it's half the game because I couldn't bring myself to continue, but as the very helpful words of the itchio description; "An economy of ether, spirit & blood — three currencies, each darker than the last, each unlocking what the one before it couldn't." (Yes thank you that's what currencies do. They buy things. Amazing input, chatGPT) I'll assume the last resource I unlocked was Ether (or corruption maybe I wasn't paying attention) when I clicked the portal levelup. This means I was probably over halfway done with the game 7, maybe 10 minutes in. I cannot bring myself to rate this higher than a star. I would rate it lower if I had the ability, because for once I even look in the direction of a game with clear AI signs - And this is what I find.

Maybe I have high standards. Maybe I'm just tired. I probably shouldn't go into that in a review.
