Rejected Draft review

Kind of neat as a 'do a thing, wait for enough stats to accumulate to bypass this stat check, do another thing' game.

The main downside is how pointless its primary mechanic is beyond the 'standard' stats. I've been playing for about a week, and on my screen are filters that are supposedly able to care about 35 stats - and I only care about maybe 5 of them on a normal basis. Most stat growth is for status effects that can only trigger or accumulate so slowly that they only have 1% chances of applying stacks that have a chance of adding a 0.1% chance of triggering, such that unless you're against an enemy that's specifically vulnerable to it, it's pointless. And when so much of the game is theoretically about accumulating stats, it means a good chunk of the game doesn't really have meaning.

As a general growth game, it's fine - but there are already plenty of 'general growth' games, and when a game can't make good use of its unique gimmick, it doesn't have great staying power.
