As other commentors mentioned, the prestige system was kind of tacked on, and was more or less unnecessary. More to the point, for a game trying this hard to be atmospheric and spooky, the sound effects were particularly disappointing. The sonar ping is total garbage, which is very bad for something you're going to hear a lot.
