This is the definition of "it sounded better in my head."
I played for about 10 to 15 minutes, and honestly, it was very repetitive (and, to be blunt, pretty boring). Maybe it becomes much more interesting later on, but the opening is painfully slow.
Right from the start, you're greeted with an overwhelming interface and a tutorial. Having to stop and read instructions immediately isn't the best way to create a strong first impression or hook new players.
Then the gameplay boils down to repeating the same four actions over and over again. I wanted to push through until I reached 100 subscribers and unlocked the staff section, but I was already bored by the time I hit 10.
The core idea isn't bad, and the theme is well executed. In fact, it's almost too polished (it has that AI-generated look but I can't tell if it's AI or not), though at least it does a good job of capturing the YouTube aesthetic. The problem is the execution. It barely feels like a game, it feels more like a simulator, and not a particularly engaging or a fun one.
That's the main issue: it's not fun to play.
