Plaguebound review

Solid, short autobattler. A lot of similarities to Horripilant, but almost without adventure/exploration elements, and without any additional prestige systems beyond those unlocked in the lair.

There are some secrets for the post-game, hinted at by achievements.

The game really picks up after A) realizing you have no reason not to speed up the game in the options. B) unlocking the "pick 3" mutations.

Very smooth, only bug I encountered was the system mouse cursor becoming visible, giving me 2 cursors.

The only thing I felt let down by was the portion of the story hidden behind a secret. Because it made no sense. It didn't seem to be a code, more like an abstract poem? It was bad enough to make me wonder if it was AI-written, or just badly translated.

Still, lovely little game to throw a couple hours of a lifetime at. ^_^
