Ball of Fantasy review

Very interesting and surprisingly deep for an incremental game. There are multiple systems to engage with: buildings, each with their own purpose, hiring warriors, workers, research, and much more.

To be honest, the UI put me off at first. It looks very complex, with a huge number of buttons and tabs. I think that's the biggest thing that could discourage people from giving the game a chance. Someone might open the game, see the interface and think "Hell no!" and close it immediately. I actually had that impulse myself, which would be a shame because there's a genuinely deep and engaging game underneath.

I'd suggest introducing the UI more gradually. At the beginning, only show the features the player can actually interact with, such as upgrades and equipment. Then, after a few minutes or once certain milestones are reached, unlock the stats and the rest of the tabs. That would make the game feel much more approachable and less overwhelming.

The art looks AI-generated? but if it's just placeholder art it's ok.

Overall, I actually enjoyed it.
