I really love the mechanic where shooting the rock around a magma pool unleashes it, causing lava to flow out and harden into new rock with new resources inside of it, that's cool. The return-to-base claw is also a nice quality-of-life feature. And the rate of fire increase feels really satisfying, if maybe a bit annoying sound-wise.

I didn't feel like the enemies really added anything to the game; they're pretty inconsequential and boring. There also wasn't much incentive to explore, you kind of just go far enough out to reach a new tier of resources, find a new base in that zone, and then repeat. It would be great to have more interesting things to find to incentivize looking around more, creating trade-offs between optimal move-in-the-direction-of-greater-resources vs find fun events, upgrades, or unlocks.

As I reached higher levels the ammo refill next to the base started glitching more often too; becoming finicky about where I needed to position to get it to dispense ammo.

Overall great start; I'd definitely be interested in seeing this expanded.
