Idle Outbreak Z review

good ideas, but convoluted and with annoying progression. Advancing through stages seems actively detrimental. Your loot doesn't get better, it just gets harder to kill zombies. If there were More instead of Harder zombies, at least you'd get more loot rolls, but it's no the case. The 12 round gun needs to be reloaded So Many Times in a single wave to the point where I'm wondering why clip capacity isn't an upgrade, or why you don't reload between waves so at least I don't shoot a singular bullet then spend a second reloading as zombies get closer. the gear system seems cool until you realize it's just RNG static upgrades. All SMGs will deal the same damage. It just affects damage. All blue armor will give the same damage reduction, and only affect damage reduction. Grenades are cool but their damage can't be upgraded so your only real way of upgrading their DPS is through cooldown upgrades, but they're expensive as hell. speaking of the economy, it's. Bad. Like very bad. Either you're stuck 20 minutes getting nothing but low grade junk you sell for effectively nothing or you get lucky with a singular diamond and can finally engage in the only gameplay this game has; upgrading stuff. This upgrade will be pretty small and honestly not that impactful in the mid-late game (considering round 10 as late game because that's kinda the point I decided to stop), and there's no way to upgrade your economy except for an incredibly expensive and small upgrade to your general loot chance.

This needs work before it can be enjoyable beyond 5 minutes.
