Silicon Architect review

There’s always a risk when making a game about hardware, software, or very technical subjects: unless your target audience consists mostly of nerds, it might not be very engaging.

What sounds more engaging: upgrading the shield of a knight who fights dragons, or... upgrading the clock cycles of a CPU core?

The theme is... I don't want to use the word "boring," but I'm very tempted. Let's just say it's not very engaging. The mechanics are also very slow, the sound design isn't great (even itch comments mention it), and the pacing is sluggish.

The graphics are also a bit weird, with some Windows XP vibes and a 3D gnome acting as a tutorial character. Overall, there are some very strange design choices. I wouldn't recommend it.
