Idle Game 1 review
2

Tl;dr; “””idle””” game where everything is random and you can’t progress without rug

This “idle” game’s main mechanic is getting random upgrades per prestige. There’s no automation, there’s no idling, and there’s nothing you can do to make it less random. It’s like a gacha game, but nothing is meta, and there’s no “guaranteed pull”.

If your terms for an “idle” game is to leave it open, then this game might qualify. But, you have to realize that this game is made to be played on your phone. Most phones can only have one active app at a time, and godspeed to you if you decided that this game is that app you wanted open all night.

On the App Store (at least), this game advertises itself as quote “decide optimizations, different strategies and various adjustments unlike other Idle Games” and “appreciate how tactical a prestige game can be.” It has none of that. Adding insult to injury, this game has a “cheat” that acts like a permanent non-random upgrade, which defeats the whole point of the game. For just a few bucks, you can decide not to play the game and skip a lot of the content.

That doesn’t mean everything is hell about this game. The simple UI is eye-catching, and the game is quite addictive at first too. If this is an idea pitch, it might work. This game has a good base and a really unique idea, but that’s it. Just a good idea with bad execution.

I only recommend playing this game after a new update comes out that helps lessen the randomness of the game since there’s no way to force a certain upgrade you need to appear. I’d wait for some kind of automation too.
