This game reminds me of plinko somehow turned into seven layers of hell. The UI is.. hell-themed.. maybe too themed for its own good. The font is hard to read and the UI feels like AI image hell.. literally and figuratively. It's too cluttered and scrolling is broken. You have to drag to scroll down the upgrade tabs. You can't even scroll down the plinko layers themselves. There's no option menu, but hey, at least this game auto saves (mostly).
The gameplay is mainly idle, but you'll spend a lot of your time just upgrading. The upgrades are basic, there's no exponential gain and it's just "this next layer gives out more souls". The "auto-prestige" is a lie. There's no prestige system. This might also be that the developer changed auto-prestige to a milestone-based upgrade and forgot to change the description. There's a soft reset button with no warning, but that doesn't give any rewards. The "trap health regen" upgrade doesn't save. The music button doesn't just mute or unmute. There's 4 settings and you're not told any of this. It's "music and sfx" -> "just music" -> "just sfx" -> "none".
It's a good idea turned into a semi-decent game. It's got the pacing better than your usual idle game, but the cluttered nature of the UI made it feel worse to play. I recommend giving it a shot despite having everything themed up to hell itself.. literally. It has 7 layers as of this review's date, and if you actively upgrade, you might get there within 5 hours.
