The early balancing is really a disaster - the early game should hook you in, not be the grindy as hell. Changing the base strength really did a huge difference.

Otherwise the game is really original and satisfying, I really want to love it. But the later balance is not it either. Very grindy and it feels like there is no interesting upgrades unveiled.
