The Alterhistorian's Conquest review

A lot of potential for an engaging game here. However, there is absolutely no hint or guidance as to what resources need to be combined to progress, and the fiddly UI that gets cumbersome to manage and muddled very quickly is constantly in the way of clarity. It's also easy to brick yourself by combining resources that don't result in a new one - instead micro-stacks of the constituting resources start to accumulate that force you to destroy the whole combiner to start anew, since every single resource stack must be interacted with and sold or used individually. It's awful UX.
