this game is not everyone's cup of tea, it will take time before you can actually see why you are saving up for the resources, which is similar in the form of "you have a limited amount of time to get as much progress as possible", while there are boosts once you reach those parts, they are pretty small, all in all this game is more "story driven" than it is "incremental progression driven" I guess.

as a complaint though, this game does run with the issue of being painfully cluttered with all the upgrades at the beginning, which is pretty much a big nono for many incremental players out there.
