The depth, content and quality writing are apparent but the UX isn't on par. Comparisons to Melvor Idle are superficial in appearance at best, as there is no central thread allowing you to make efficient or rewarding choices for progression. Combat is a bewildering chore - how does a shotgun deal the same damage as bare fists? Why doesn't fighting inside a mechanized assault mech provide any tangible advantage to life or defense? Half of the time, your attacks miss. There are too many stats that each require mind-numbingly dull grinds with highly manual, repetitious crafting cycles of trash-tier equipment and resources nested in confusing submenus and categories. There are also way too many things, the itemization overbearing in terms of keeping track of what goes where or what should be prioritized. Everything requires constant attention despite having tediously long waiting times. As such, it can easily happen that no progress is made at all for stretches at a time. It's not a good idle game, nor a satisfying incremental game.
