A Cold Night review

Some thought to the atmosphere and detail can really carry these shorter games, and A Cold Night absolutely nails it. The falling ASCII snowflakes and great soundtrack have a serene, cozy feeling (even once you upgrade it enough to have a blizzard leaving feet of snow on the ground). As has been mentioned, the game shows you the number of upgrades remaining, but you don't see them until you are close to affording them, which helps keep the anticipation up as the game unfolds. You may just find yourself keeping the game open, chilling to the tunes and trying to catch snowflakes on your tongue.
