I really like the idea, and the topic is great... It's not fun. The main challenge is just waiting for the money to go up, rather than actual gameplay. And most of the time you have no idea why you're pressing the buttons. Buy sewing machines? Sure... but you'll have to wait out until a story event to find out why.
