Despite my comment saying I like the game, playing further from that point, it becomes very apparent that it's too slow. Every single thing you invest in is just additive. I reached Foundation, the second section, and the first thing I invest in says it gives 500 per level to Qi flow, and when I upgrade it, I see only a 5 value difference. So there is a code error, or typo in the description of the skill. Really killed my motivation to keep playing.

Edit: Also, I closed the tab, and when I tried to go back, the site was inaccessible. Something about "free plan" over the limit, so can't go back and play until next month. That's ridiculous.
