I remember playing this game around 10 years ago. Sadly, it hasn't really aged well. There are some things you can do to help it along though.

Refrain from buying the goblin xp upgrades for one. It seems like the background effects cause a lot of lag later on.

And back up your save OFTEN as the game just stops working from time to time.

That said, it's still a real fun time.
