I played it for 30 minutes, and had to stop before reaching the end of the demo's content or purchasing most of the skill tree because I just...wasn't enjoying myself. It's polished, the art is pretty, the background tracks are easy on the ear, but it's just not fun. The balance is just not there. Go on a minute long ride or so, use your guns to harvest resources (or ram them if they're on the track), run out of fuel and go back to the shop to buy a few upgrades that add up to a very minor change in how far you go or how many resources you collect, then repeat. It just doesn't feel rewarding, it feels more like work than play at this stage. Just grinding runs to fill out the upgrade tree for it's own sake, and I just got tired of the miniscule gains you get for each run. It's not like you can idle it, it is very active. It feels more like playing a really slow and unsatisfying arcade game than an incremental game, honestly. If you have a lot of patience for tedium and repetition with minimal change or reward, you'd probably like this, but I don't personally recommend spending too much time on it.
