Coal LLC review
2

A resource gathering rogue-lite with minimal meta progression. Every run you try to survive as many days as possible. Each day you must gather an ever increasing amount of coal or you get executed. Each night you can buy a couple of upgrades - the most incremental part of this game is the tiers of pickaxes (with double as many tiers as in minecraft). The difficulty curve means that if you don't get ahead significantly you will essentially just gather coal the entire run through without actually being able to farm for significant upgrades, until you are outscaled.

At best a critique of capitalism as a concept by forcing you to repeat the same things trying to achieve artificially inflated goals just to survive without allowing enough downtime to significantly improve to your life. At worst an unintuitive roguelite with pretty much no incremental aspects.
