Material Warrior review

This is a top-down 2d grid based RPG, although the balancing makes it play similar to an incremental logically.
If you manage to get past the awkward controls due to significant input lag, you are rewarded with some of the weirdest game development decisions you will see for a while:
- The fighting system is an auto battler where you have to click "attack" instead of it firing automatically.
- The progression is more or less a strict path through different farming stages and upgrades where none can really be circumvented.
- That strict path consists of a lot of very unintuitive next steps and you can close to soft-lock yourself multiple times if you do something you are not supposed to yet.
- Upgrades to your power mostly come in orders of magnitude which makes enemies either trivial or impossible.
- Random highspeed 2d platforming section.
