Promising demo but with a few glaring issues:
- Any form of non-permanent stamina gain, such as from the shop pants or the wanderer iron lung ability has a bug where sometimes the extra max hp from the temp increases would randomly just disappear. This seems to happen randomly to the point where I just pretend that extra hp doesn't exist. The only reason I even still bother to get the boosts is to activate the effects of the Death Root Armor, where the extra 90 def at 10% max hp kinda renders most direct damage attacks entirely harmless.
- Continuing from the previous point, the Death Root Armor is kinda gamebreaking at this stage of the game, and is literally gotten from the boss of the starting zone. As non-boss enemies don't do much damage to begin with... an extra 9 damage off makes them do no damage with anything other than DOT abilities like poison.
- Enemy dodge chance feels... off, like with the slimes in the newbie area, despite it saying the dodge chance is 12%, in reality it feels more like the enemy avoids 50% of my attacks instead. Like the enemy shouldn't be frequently avoiding my attacks like 5 times in a row if it were really 12%.
- Pretty much all of the wanderer actives abilities are completely useless. From a skill (iron lung) that doesn't always work, a skill that sacrifices a large amount of hp for the amount of progress you'd make in like 2 second, and a skill that sacrifices almost all of your hp for the amount of progress that you'd make in like 20 seconds. Pretty much the only thing wanderer has going for it is that it has better stat gains than the chemist.
