Four Divine Abidings review

An excellent, theme-consistent and well-designed game filled with beautiful, hand-painted art.

It is apparent that the author has gone through countless iterations of all systems and balanced the experience well.

It is a very simple game with hidden complexity. The only "downside" are the unfamiliar (Buddhist) terms used to describe most of the systems like stats and skills. I'd advise to just give it a chance and it will click eventually.

During gameplay, you follow the Path (main quest), which slowly unfolds the different ways to play the game and gently forces you to interact with them.

One thing to highlight and appreciate is that the game calculates offline progress directly, so it behaves the same whether it is running or not - no need to keep the tab open, and no need to worry about "slowed" progress when the tab is inactive.

A truly unique and complete experience in a sea of clones and unfinished projects.

Thank you for creating it, and for making it free (I would not) for everyone to play.

Excellent work.
