A tower defense game where you are the tower and can move around, it feels more like a vampire survivor game than an incremental.
You get damaged if enemies touch you or if they reach the opposite side where they had spawned, enemies get stronger each second and after you beat a map you can enter an endless mode there.
The demo has 8 levels on both normal mode and combo mode, the overload mode is locked so dont waste your limited currency trying to unlock it, also the "new you" the initial perk dont work on the demo too so avoid that one.
The game is a massive grind, the escalate on the upgrade requeriments are no joke, the upgrades start cheap and become a grind fest after a tier or two.
You initially can only move up and down and your resource collection is not automatic and has a very limited range, later on it becomes better but still maddening in a way where you will always lose currency you couldve collected, there's a upgrade that gives you up to 50% to auto collect the currency on ground at the end of a run, but its away too late and still scuffed in it's own way.
The game introduces a second currency and likely others after, that secondary currency is also another pain to collect it's gated by time, requires upgrades to be less painfull and it's a requeriment for later upgrade tiers and escale away too much to but less than the first currency.
You later on can move diagonally something that shouldve been "free" from the start, but at that point you dont really need this anymore, you can become really powerfull for the 8 levels present in the DEMO, so in the full game you are likely to face bullet sponges just like you already have too, but on the 8 levels present in the DEMO u really cant experience it that much.
So far the DEMO is kinda of a let down, not in the amount of content on it, or it's limitations, but in what it shows about the game.
It shows a grind fest, there's no boss fights, the game dont really add anything new or changes in game play from its upgrades, and the only change from one level to the other is the annoying moving checkered background that coupled with the after image the enemies and you leave behind becomes a pain more than adding "adrenaline" to the game.
