Warp Explorer review
3

In its current game-jam form, this is barely a game, with about 10 minutes of content and some rough edges. (E.g., there's no indication in the game itself of how to launch your probe.) Its upgrade tree is very simple and it abruptly runs out of content. That said, I really, really like where this is going, and I look forward eagerly to further development!

It's got distinct stages of gameplay with different objectives and controls, has a full framework for a more robust upgrade/incremental system, and makes good use of its upgrades to create chokepoints. The basic structure of the game is solid in all three of its stages (though I'd love to see an early to mid-game upgrade added to let you simply set your forward speed and auto-launch).

Final note: this is NOTHING like Nodebuster, except in the broad upgrade-tree/currency structure. I'd say it should just be listed as an inspiration in the credits rather than used to describe the game.
