People are being negative just because. For where it is on its development I spent a whole day playing and clicking and the upgrades felt significant, which is hard enough for an incremental game. Lower your expectations, it is being developed and it's free... enjoy it for what it is. The only thing I can think is that the UI/theme could get some love. Atoms and life is a bit basic, so a few new icons for the upgrades, and a more creative theme overall would do wonders.
