Loop is good. automation feels fine but simultaneously feels very simple, it just kinda plays itself when you have all pieces automated. I don't expect that'll be the case forever, though, if dev is planning to expand upon it. Shock burns through jail way too fast, provoking execution and mine downtime in the lategame. Making it so it only shocks up to your heat also doesn't seem good, since it's a big part of your killrate by that point. Maybe shocking up to 80% would be better? That, or always keeping "guillotine capacity + 10" people to account for mine downtime. Then again, that'd be very inconvenient for early game, so maybe it'd benefit from being a slider, toggle or upgrade for when your iron output spikes
I always do enjoy games with clear, definite goals. Even if they are unnecessarily dark.
