Idle Racing review
2

Not idle in the slightest. Here's the game, as I experienced it before I got tired of it and stopped: Click the upgrade menu for a specific car, double shift-click whatever upgrades are affordable to prestige the upgrade then max it, spam click the boost button for that individual car to massively boost its stats for a bit, click the background to zoom back out so you can see the buttons for the other cars, click the next car in the list, wait for your points to refill, shift click whatever upgrades are affordable, spam click the boost button for that car, repeat, repeat, repeat. I could've unlocked the third section of the track, but I just...couldn't be bothered to wait to get enough points with how tedious and generally unpleasant the game was to play.

2 stars because the concept is good, but it's so clunky, and not particularly rewarding. One of those games where you spend all your points on upgrades which...do almost nothing, after a certain point, but you have to keep grinding the upgrades up so your income doesn't fall behind. No automation in the game (at least as far as I played in the current version of it). It just...feels bad to play. But, good concept with upgrading cars to run a track faster for more cash, it's fun to watch them slowly become a bootleg particle accelerator. But the actual process of buying upgrades is tedious, painful, and unending.
