Idle Iktah review

I've been obsessed with this game for the past week. It's a much more hands-on game early on than I usually go for, but there's just so much depth to explore. The main gameplay loop is resource gathering and crafting. But then there's also fighting, minigame events, and town management. It's like the lovechild of an incremental game and a cozy farming sim. Some mechanics aren't well explained, but with the amount of time you need to spend on each aspect to level it - it's something you can get a sense of just by doing. Every resource has an associated skill that you need to upgrade to progress further and there are a lot of these, making it somewhat grindy. My favourite game introduced to me by this website, I'll hold it among Cookie Clicker, Universal Paperclips, Armory&Machine, and the rest of what I consider great incremental games. TLDR: Take a cozy farming sim like Stardew Valley and make it incremental.
