The pathfinding is so atrocious the character goes to hit 1 block, go to different block, hit it once and go back to first block. The options at the bottom are only a suggestion. At least there should be something like a ping option so your character can already mine the exposed ore.
After playing some more, the algorithm prefers to uncover the most amount of block in an area as efficiently as possible, while the most efficient way wouyld be to move left/right to uncover new caves with exposed ore since the world is infinite. The algorithm prefers moving to a place instead of mining which sometimes makes you take a huge detour instead of mining 2 block. Maybe if the ai gets more optimized (or there are more options to move your character) the game would be playable. As of now it's a huge grindfest to even get to 1st prestige (haven't gone there yet and Im not even close enough). Maybe the the ai optiomization would be just enogh, but the game seems petty shallow content wise.
Also, I'd like to see how much each upgrade change the total amount (like total damage after multipliers) or that number divided by the price, so you immediatly know what is the most effective to buy
