Before I review I just want to preface this with.. if you think this is just another melvor clone, another game where you set up woodcutting, mining, fishing or whatever and then go afk for several hours and come back then no, it isn't. If you only enjoy that type of game then this game might not be for you, as it is a much more active style of game. It does have QoL and automation to ease into it though & it's not just "I'll turn on my auto-clicker and get 100k resources in a minute" either.
Now why am I leaving a 5 star review? Because of my contact with the dev, the game aside the dev has been amazing so far. They genuinely appreciate feedback and implement to the best of their abilities while keeping the vision of their game. They are constantly updating the game with new content. Best of all the dev plays their own game and realizes as a user what's inconvenient and works to resolve that.
On to the game itself, there isn't much to the game now. It's still in a very early state, but of what is there I genuinely had an enjoyable time working on it and since I've started there's been several improvements to areas of the game I enjoyed less so. Royal Services have been rebalanced to be more reasonable, there is now an auto-sort for your inventory, you can batch craft in crafting skill and more. I think right now the biggest thing dragging the games down is intuitiveness. Not everything in the game is very intuitive and you may get lost or not understand mechanics of the game. However I believe the dev is working something out on how to better teach the player the game.
Basically the dev has turned out to be great and I'm glad to be along for the ride to see where he takes the game and I hope to see the game prosper. I'm a little sad at how many downvotes the game gets but I hope those are mostly because people see this and think "another melvor clone" rather than voting based on actual personal experience. If it based on personal experience I urge you to either leave a review or join the discord and get in touch with the dev, I promise you'll they'll consider whatever feedback you might have!
