Lootbane review

While gameplay feels good, it's lacking a bit on QoL. Moving items, selling and comparing stats (textboxes get cut off on the shop and item looting screens) is tedious in its current state, but the actual decision-making and character building feels good. the fact that items don't seem to get better the deeper you go in a dungeon feels weird - It's only gold that is increased, but if you wanted Epic equipment, you'd go after bosses, which gets way harder on deeper levels for no extra reward. Sure, you can reroll the shop until you see an epic item you want, but that's surprisingly inexpensive. So you end up not needing the extra gold for it

All in all, it just needs a few quirks refined, but it's a good base for a game. I'm not sure I got to the end of content, as I didn't finish the campfire quests, but I just assume it triggers a "thanks for playing the demo" screen. If there's anything I missed, please let me know.
