I'll recommend it as I like the dev's other games however this is just a clone of them with none of the charm. It has the exact same mechanics as his other steam releases (Magic Archer / Wizard Tower) but...:

You don't pick the order of the buildings you unlock

Their art is very dull. Very formulaic/mechanical with the same sprite likely being placed with a formula instead of thoughtful and interesting. Every building except for one just has guys on it that throw a pink or white dot into the pot. The theme of the game, a witch cauldron can be entirely forgottten as there is nothing cauldrony about it other than the witch that builds the buildings with the same animation as every other gnorplike and the cauldron that sits there

The buildings are dull. They don't do anything interesting. You just spam 2 of them to have the best mathematically highest numbers
Sure it's a prototype but it's quite barebones. Not sure why it's needed other than to farm wishlists to see if people still have an appetite for this style of game. I'm aware that you can already make the same exact formula as this game. His other un-released earlier itch games are much more inventive. The crab treasure one and the sidescrolling robot one. Still, maybe he'll make this one unique enough to be good. Wizard Tower and Magic Archer were so it's probably fine
