The beginning is very slow, and it does not feel engaging enough to hang on to the later stages. The temporary upgrades feel underwhelming, with percentages that increment rather than interesting effects that could combine.

I would suggest passing on this until more work is done on the main gameplay loop, at least until the beginning is a bit quicker than it is.
