Shark incremental review

Generally a fun and rewarding game through most stages. The variety of interacting systems and evolving mechanics keeps things new and engaging as you progress.
My only major concern is that late-game rune mechanics can get frustrating. Without a guide, it's easy to end up in a cycle of arbitrarily trying different rune combinations and layouts until one happens to work well for the particular requirements of the stage. Unfortunately, the payout of getting it right isn't that satisfying as, in my experience, you often get the solution through luck rather than understanding the system.
