Fun game type. Needs some balancing though. The first playthrough is fairly quick and the first prestige makes a big jump. But then it slows way way down. Each cycle takes longer to get a single prestige point and by the time I was 3 prestige in I was pretty bored. The amount required to earn prestige points needs to be lowered a fair amount. Also there needs to be an upgrade to automate defense so that you aren't tied to actively playing every 110 seconds. Good framework but needs some work.
