For a game jam game it's pretty awesome! Sure, it has it's flaws but I'm sure they can be fixed with time.

Overall I felt the pacing ok-ish, slightly slow, and of course it's a game jam game, so there isn't much content other than 3 types of plants, two pools of water and a worm to buy upgrades.

Also, incremental games tend to have a way to automate things and I felt that this game was lacking in that aspect, other than the pickup, the rest had to be done manually.

It would be awesome that after getting the new worm egg you'd unlock different areas, probably different fruits, a way to automate things instead of manually doing all the work, like building "channels" that will slowly grow vegetation around them. Also, it desperately needs an upgrade to speed up pick up velocity of the fruits. Also you could build like "pickup baskets" with some sort of vacuum that sucks the fruit instead only being picked up by the snail, so you can automate an area and start working on another.

Overall I liked it and I'd recommend it, I wish you can continue its development to see where it's going.
