Even Check Back, a borderline joke game that is nothing but timewalls, doesn't make you wait an entire hour, with no offline progression, right off the bat. What an absolutely insane design choice.

Maybe the wait is worthwhile and there's great content that unlocks a few hours in. I don't know, and I'll never know, because I'm not going to play this.
